Forever Affiliate Review Part 3: Product Analysis Funnel

Forever Affiliate Video CourseHi everyone, welcome to part 3 of my Forever Affiliate review. In today’s post I finally get started on the main part of the course!

I almost thought I’d have to wait before I could continue this review, because yesterday morning when I logged into my Forever Affiliate dashboard and clicked on the Phase 1 module, none of the videos were showing up! Understandable since the course only launches officially later today – they must still be setting things up behind the scenes.

Anyway, I thought I’d try again after work, and it was fixed! Hurray! Let’s get started ๐Ÿ˜€

Phase 1: Initial Research

Phase 1 is actually divided into two sections:

  1. locating new niches/offers
  2. analyzing the niches/offers and judging them for potential profitability

Andrew begins with the second part first, which is weird, but he’s the expert so I’ll go with it.

Andrew Hansen Forever Affiliate - Phase 1

Video 1: Analyzing The Size Of Potential Markets

The videos sound very natural. Sometimes there are a few “uh’s”, but I don’t mind because it doesn’t sound like he’s just reading off a page.

I like that he gives us exact numbers so there’s no uncertainty, not just for amount of searches but also the amount of keywords, which is something I’d been wondering about. He also answered another question I had concerning the keyword search results.

I like that he shows us what to do first and then recaps at the end, so I can watch first without worrying about taking notes, and then at the end I can jot down the instructions

The “previous” and “next” links under the videos are useful, but if you use them you won’t get to read the descriptions on the main Phase 1 page. I guess you don’t need them if you watch the video though.

Video 2: Profitability Testing A Market

I love the second video! Some might not like this one because it involves some calculations, but it makes things so much clearer. You’ll love this step if you never know if a niche is worth targeting or not.

I couldn’t resist, I went and made a spreadsheet already! Now all I have to do is plug in the 2 variables and I’ll immediately know a niche’s earning potential ๐Ÿ˜€

If you don’t know how to make a spreadsheet with automatic calculations yourself, just contact me and I’ll send it to you. (You have to have bought the course through my link though, so I can verify the purchase – it wouldn’t be ethical to give Andrew’s techniques to people who haven’t bought his course.)

Video 3: Analyzing The Competition In A Market

The 3rd video is 28 minutes long, and Andrew goes into a lot of detail here, teaching us how to gauge how strong our competition would be before we even enter a niche. No other course I’ve bought has gone this deep.

He shows us two different scenarios, one where the competition is beatable and one where it would be too difficult.

He then shows us how to figure out if we can beat the huge authority domains. Someone tried to prove to me once that it’s always possible without too much effort, but I thought their “proof” was conveniently ignoring one factor – and so this part makes me feel vindicated ๐Ÿ˜›

I loved this video! Knowing how to do this will save me a lot of time, effort, and money by letting me spot a niche that’s too difficult before I even attempt it. Awesome info!

Video 4: Analyzing A Merchantโ€™s Landing Page

The 4th video is 15 minutes long, and in it Andrew shows us how to weed out landing pages that probably won’t convert.

He shows us 2 that have a good chance of converting – I could tell the first one was good, but the second one was a surprise to me – and one that probably won’t convert.

Video 5: Making Sure There Is An Affiliate Program

Video 5 is just a short video showing us two methods of how to find out if there is an affiliate program for a product. We might or might not need to do this step, depending on how we found the product in the first place.

I knew the first method but not the second one. I think it would actually be a good idea to use the 2nd method even if you already know the product has an affiliate program, because you just might find another one with a better commission. Pretty cool!

Next time…

So far I’m very impressed with what I’ve learned in Forever Affiliate. In the next part of my review, I’ll be going over the niche research videos. I’m looking forward to learning Andrew’s niche research techniques, because finding a good niche is something I’m really bad at.

See you soon!

      Hi Jimmy,

You should have received an email after purchase with your login details. Check your spam folder if you can’t find it.

If it’s not there, go here and click on the “Forgot Password?” link under the sign-in form. Then put your email address in the “Forgotten password?” form on the next page, and they will send it to you again.
